The Carnegie Foundation and Atlantic Philanthropies responded to efforts
by and on behalf of the Irish Government to stifle dissent by holding
a seminar entitled 'Enabling Dissent' on May 20th, in Dublin.
This
is the full speech by Kumi Naidoo, a leader internationally of civil society
organisations. He says the struggle to regain lost civil liberties has
now begun.
