Larry McCarthy, a volunteer and Chairperson of the National Community Development Forum was surprised to find himself interrupting an Oireachtas hearing into the new Local and Community Development Programme. He was almost thrown out of Leinster House in reacting to a "deadline" claim by Minister of State John Curran.
